Biografia:
Gabriel Modica, tambien conocido como DETUNE, nacio a principios de 1980 en Buenos Aires, Argentina donde en 1996 comienzó su carrera como dj y productor con influencias que abarcan desde el rock sinfonico de los 70 hasta la electronica mas reciente.
En sus comienzos se centró mas en los sonidos cercanos al techno y al tribal, girando paulatinamente hacia un sonido mas melodico vinculado al trance y al progressive trance, pero sin perder la agresividad mecánica del techno en algunas de sus producciones.
Actualmente sus sets pueden abarcar el progressive trance, el trance, el tech trance y el techno siempre tratando de mostrar al publico el sonido mas reciente y fresco dentro de la escena electronica.
En los ultimos tiempos ha compartido cabina con Djs como Markus Schulz, Sean Tyas, John O'Callaghan, Steve Helstrip, Heatbeat, Deathmind, Darioef, Thr3hold, Sequence, Marcelo Fratini, Julian Garcia, Carlos Ruiz, y ha tocado en diferentes lugares tanto de Capital Federal y Gran Buenos Aires como en provincias del interior del pais tales como Santa Fe, Cordoba, Mendoza, Rio Negro, Neuquen, Tucuman.
Uno de los trabajos que mas disfruta a la hora de producir es el de crear sus propias versiones de otros artistas, habiendo realizado hasta el momento remixes de BT, James Holden, Freefall, Andy Moor, Heatbeat, Darioef, Thr3shold, Bs As Deep, Nicolas Fantin, Kozmic3 y Cristian Gandini entre otros.
Sus influencias musicales dentro de lo exclusivamente electronico, incluyen a artistas tales como Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Bryan Kearney, John O'Callaghan, Sean Tyas, Tom Colontonio por nombrar algunos.
En el mes de Enero de 2008 editó "Roaches", su primer EP para el sello Dub Tech Recordings, en el que se encuentran releases de artistas como Santiago Nino, Alex Hentze, Giuseppe Ottaviani, DC Project y Heatbeat entre otros, el cual recibio muy buenas criticas de parte de Djs de primer nivel.
En la actualidad Gabriel se encuentra produciendo el material correspondiente al nuevo EP proximo a editarse, ademas de estar trabajando en colaboraciones con renombrados artistas nacionales

BIOGRAPHY
Gabriel Modica, also known as DETUNE, was born in early 1980 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he began his career as a dj & producer in 1996 with influences that go from seventies symphonic rock to the most contemporary electronica.
During his beginnings he focused on the sounds that are closer to techno and tribal, shifting gradually towards a more melodic sound asociated with trance and progressive trance, yet never loosing the mechanical boldness of techno in some of his productions.
Currently, his sets can go from progressive trance to trance and from tech trance to techno always trying to deliver the audience with the most recent and fresh sound of the electronic music scene.
In the last few years he has shared the booth with djs like Markus Schulz, Sean Tyas, John O'Callaghan, Steve Helstrip, Heatbeat, Deathmind, Darioef, Thr3hold, Sequence, Marcelo Fratini, Julian Garcia, Carlos Ruiz and has performed at various places in Buenos Aires as well as in cities across the country like Santa Fe, Cordoba, Mendoza, Rio Negro, Neuquen, Tucuman.
One of the tasks he enjoys the most while producing is creating his own versions of other artists’ tracks, having already come up with remixes of BT, James Holden, Freefall, Andy Moor, Heatbeat, Darioef, Thr3shold, Bs As Deep, Nicolas Fantin, Kozmic3 and Cristian Gandini among others.
Within the realm of electronica his musical influences include artists like Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Bryan Kearney, John O'Callaghan, Sean Tyas and Tom Colontonio to name a few.
On january 2008 he released Roaches, his first EP for the label Dub Tech Recordings, which includes remixes by artists like Santiago Nino, Alex Hentze, Giuseppe Ottaviani, DC Project and Heatbeat, which received very good reviews from top notch djs.
Currently Gabriel is producing the material that will be part of his next EP that will soon see the light, on top of working on collaborations with reknowned local artists.
His work can be listened to on his weekly radio shows Beats From The Inside every Tuesday from 12 to 2 AM on KSK Radio (101.9 FM or
KSKRADIO FM 101.9 - 100% MUSIC) and Meeting Point every Sunday from 2 to 4 PM on FM Beat (90.5 FM or
