Distants Records se originó en Argentina, mas específicamente en Buenos Aires, Capital Federal. Surge como respuesta a las diversas trabas con las que nos topamos al dar nuestros primeros pasos en la música. Sentíamos que merecíamos una oportunidad, pero no encontrábamos el espacio. Necesitábamos expandirnos, hacernos escuchar, queríamos compartir con la gente los trabajos que con tanto esfuerzo y dedicación realizábamos. Es justo en ese punto de inflexión en donde fue inminente la creación del sello, para formar una de las mejores etiquetas de Progressive de Argentina y el mundo. Se le dio el nombre Distants porque la idea que tiene el sello es distinguirse entre otras discograficas, en el manejo y calidad musical obteniendo los mejores artistas under`s y cuidando del mismo para que se sienta comodo y no atado a tener que pertenecer solo a nosotros.

Distants Records was created in Capital Federal, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It started as a response at many problems we found in the electronic scene. We were feeling the need of showing the world the vanguard sounds of our artists and we couldn’t find the necessary places to do it. We wanted to expand and share with the electronic music lovers our works, done them with strong effort and dedication. Was it there, where we decided to create our own label and agency, wich soon, would become one of the best Progressive labels from Argentina and the world. Called Distants, because we wanted it to be special for us and all of our supporters. Our main goal is to make our artists feel very comfortable and grow and to show the world their full potential. Always marking the distance and the vanguard that keeps our music.
Actually, Distants Records has the best musical quality and excellent underground artists. It also counts with its own events called “Distants Nights”.
