In tandem with Trance.nu, Solarstone is launching his search for trance music’s Next Big Thing! Following his acquisition of Solaris Recordings in July, Rich has started work compiling ‘Electronic Architecture’, his first Solaris compilation… And that, producers of the world, is where you come in! The winner of the competition will have their track signed to Solaris for a full release and it’ll make its feature debut on the compilation, which is out in early 2009.

So, if you’ve just nursed the next ‘Age of Love’, ‘Children’ or ‘Café del Mar’ into existence, he wants to hear from you! The brief is pretty broad - progressive house, progressive-trance & trance, but bear in mind that quintessential Solarstone sound… nothing tooo hard folks!

So pick the very best of your best 320kbps mp3 track links and encode your name, e-mail address & phone number into the ID3 tags. Send them direct to Rich at the label: nextbigthing@solarisinternational.org before the 31st of October closing date and, who knows, you could be 2009’s Sean Tyas, Richard Durand or Sied van Riel! We’ll be announcing the winner exclusively on Trance.nu in November and Rich adds, somewhat mysteriously, that “I will be assisted in my judgment of the final three by The SolarSwarm!”.
