Intuition Winter Event at Panama (22nd of December)

On Saturday the 22nd of December 2007 Intuition will end a very successful year with an event in the most popular club in Amsterdam: Panama*. After sold-out editions of Menno Solo in Studio 80 and an Intuition ADE night in the Escape Venue it’s time to make the next step! With names such as Giuseppe Ottaviani (Live), Stoneface & Terminal, DJ Shah, Progression, Marcus Schössow, Fine Taste and Menno de Jong Intuition Events closes off 2007 with a big bang!

Giuseppe Ottaviani from Rome will blow the roof off with his unique live act; he never fails to take his synthesizers, Mac Books, mixers and controllers to the max during a gig! The extremely talented Italian gained fame initially utilizing his skills as a classical pianist under his NU NRG project, in recent years however he has conquered the scene as a solo artist! Under the flag of Paul van Dyk’s Vandit label Giuseppe has produced numerous massive tracks. His latest landmarks are ‘La Dolce Vita’ and ‘Far Away’ on Paul van Dyk’s latest album ‘In Between’, including many more ignited by his first ever release ‘NU NRG - Dreamland’. Giuseppe will be bringing you his very newest, and hottest tunes on the Intuition Winter Event this year so don’t miss it!

Also essential to witness are Stoneface & Terminal. This production duo from the German Euphonic imprint has been consistently growing towards becoming a powerhouse of the trance scene. As a result of this Tiësto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and every other big trance jock on the planet have played their tracks! In 2005 they scored a massive club hit together with Ronski Speed titled ‘Incognition/Drowning Sunlight’. Their brand-new album ‘Wide Range’ has recently hit stores and has been topping sales charts for months. As a DJ duo their fame precedes them, they are known for energetic sets with incredible crowd interaction. Your high expectations will be met during Stoneface & Terminal’s Dutch debut!

That was the first of three Dutch debuts for you. Intuition is proud to announce that DJ Shah, currently one of the biggest producers in the scene, will be hitting the lowlands for the first time at the Winter Event. Indeed, the second debut of this evening! He has remixed for Tiësto and Armin van Buuren, released the ‘Sunlounger - Another Day At The Terrace’ album charting #1 on the iTunes Album top 10, been featured on Tiësto’s In Search of Sunrise CDs, Armin van Buuren’s various mix compilations and much, much more. Let’s give Shah a warm welcome at his first ever Dutch gig!

Daniel Wanrooy and Robin van de Wiel form the Dutch duo Progression. As true rising stars they deliver an absolutely unique sound that has been picked up by all the big names. In 2007 they released their debut album ‘Different Day, Different Light’ on Black Hole Recordings. Progression is currently touring all over Europe and Intuition is proud to have them over for the Intuition Winter Event at Panama* on the 22nd of December.

Last but not least in the main room is Menno de Jong, the man behind Intuition. Menno is seen as one of the biggest talents in the scene. His high quality productions and energetic performances are strongly appreciated by the international crowds on his worldwide tours. This affirms his strong rise in the DJ Mag Top 100 this year where he has conquered the 62nd position! This is a great achievement that will certainly be built on in the next years.

In the Panama* Studio Fine Taste and Marcus Schössow will be playing the hottest house and progressive sounds. Marcus Schössow from Sweden has been working with various top acts the past few years, and recently developed into a go-to-guy with his very own sound. Therefore it’s no surprise that he is an official ‘member’ of the renowned ‘Swedish House Mafia’. Extrema and Little Mountain Records signed duo Fine Taste will spark the fire on this night with their funky progressive grooves and smoothly build sets. Both these acts will guarantee a sizzling hot atmosphere!
