After the superb success of the last release from Alex Dolby, Sudbeat and label boss Hernan Cattaneo return to the mother-country of Argentina for the next release, from up and coming talents Tonnsaied and Mario Kahn.
With an addiction for booming drums and ghostly melodies. An understanding of the combat between light and dark, and the fusion of anger and mystery, Tonnsaied has a special understanding and talent that enables him to construct music with special, powerful and deeper dimensions.
A child of Buenos Aires, and a producer for some years. It was his
2008 and release 'Atoms' which first brought him to the worlds attention. Heavy support from John Digweed and Cattaneo himself, plus future tracks such as 'Rock Rose' and a superb remix of Alex Dolby's 'Polarity' further shot Tonnsaied into the spotlight.
Mario Kahn has a much studied musical backround. His knowledge of a variety of instruments is a direct influence on his production and sounds. True hybrids, his tracks feature the deep grooves of progressive, the smart simplicity of Minimal and the sinister rhythms of techno.
Teaming up today on 'Voided', the pair expertly showcase their talents, and highlight once again, that they are real talents for the future. Keeping the package global, Sudbeat have drafted in a Russian duo, and rising Irish talent to provide the remixes.
With over 20 years of DJing experience, and 20 releases in little over a year, Russian outfit Monaque certainly know to work a dancefloor with their music. Whether its driving tech, emotional progressive or the deeper realms of house, their productions can be heard on a variety of the finest floors. There mix of 'Voided' has a classic, uplifting, main-room feel, that will find huge support from Progressive and Trance DJ's a like.
Dublin born and bred Silinder is our final remixer. Having announced himself to the world with his at first, un-commissioned and then signed, remix of James Zabiela's 'Robophobia'. And with the support from Zabiela himself for his music. Silinder is a name to keep an eye one. His love of dark, electronic sounds is evident here. A brooding, atmospheric and laid back groove, make this mix perfect early set material.
