The Amsterdam Dance Event is a yearly highlight for everyone into dance music. For 5 days, the city of Amsterdam gets invaded with dance freaks from all over the world, the best DJ's and the most inventive or beloved party concepts. As Amsterdam resident, Armada celebrates this yearly event with a great party. Last year, Paradiso was the scenery to the sold-out Armada @ ADE Night, as we kicked off on Wednesday night. Starting the ADE fresh and sober proved to be working more than well. That's why this year's edition will once again be held on Wednesday night. The Escape venue, on the famous Amsterdam Rembrandt square, will be hosting a few major Armada DJ's.
First off, Blake Jarrell is there to warm the crowd with his refined mix of progressive-house. Last year, Blake successfully kicked off the night, and we're sure he hasn't lost his touch yet.
Same goes for Nick Bracegirdle, the man behind the legendary Chicane guise. His 'Bruised Water' mash-up and new track 'Poppiholla' have revived his status as one of the most popular live acts in today's dance scene.
Another 'comeback' that's going to turn the heads, is the one of Nick Warren and Jody Wisternoff. Their indefinably, legendary work under the Way Out West collab has never been forgotten. The boys behind 'Killa', 'Don't Forget Me' and 'Mindcircles' are back and ready to show they still got what it takes to rumble the dance scene. With a new album, 'We Love Machine' coming up, Way Out West is one of the hottest names to check out at this year's ADE.
Last, but definitely not least, there's mister Armada himself. There's no Amsterdam Dance Event without him. Yes ladies and gents, we're talking about Armin van Buuren here. His sets at Armada Night during the Amsterdam Dance Event always form one of the highlights of this yearly celebration of dance.
