| Del Jardin Latino exclusive interview: Douglas Greed DJL: What real life situations inspire to create music?
DG: I cant really pick a certain situations that inspire me, sometimes I just got an idea out of nowhere and sometimes I hear or see something that gives me an idea. And music in generally inspires of course. DJL: Your music has a particular sound, hard to label, if you had to explain people who does not know your work, how would you describe it?
DG: Oh my…I cant really put it in a drawer myself. For me its changing all the time, I guess the base could be described as deep, dark and melancholy. DJL: When it comes to doing live shows, can the setting of the dance floor change the progress of the set or do you have it already set up?
DG: I have a raw path of how the lievething might go along, but when i recognize that people may wanna hear more melodic or maybe more raw stuff, I can always change and skip in between and can react on peoples behaviour. DJL: What are your upcoming releases?
DG: “New Innerstate Strategies” on InFine Records is gonna be out in June and then there going to be a bunch of remixes, and a track on the Lebensfreude, Birthday Sampler just got released. DJL: Do you know anything about the artists of South America, are you planning on doing a how there any time soon?
DG: I´d love to come over to south america, but at he moments there are no thought out plans for it. the last couple of weeks i also heard a bunch of nice tracks from your side of the planet. Entrevista Exclusiva a Douglas Greed : Del Jardín Latino | Musica y Cultura Electronica |
