One of the first generation of trance radio broadcasts, in its original incarnation Menno de Jong’s Intuition Show rapidly developed into a weekly music update that rivalled the biggest out there. Over its 150 episode run it brought the very cream of trance & progressive music (as well as all the hinterland shades in-between) to the electronic dance nation. Developing a massive & dedicated listenership throughout its 3 year run, it incorporated guest-mixes from some of the biggest DJs in the world, including Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn and a host of other spinning stars.
In order to focus on other aspects of the Intuition operation, early last year Menno transferred the show to a 2 hour, monthly format. This however was only ever a temporary measure…
To the doubtless joy of the show’s devoted following (for whom tuning in had become a weekly ritual), early next month Menno will be reinstating The Intuition Radio Show to its weekly format.
Re-launching on the 2nd of September, with a world-beating 3hr XXL episode, the 151st weekly show will feature guest-mixes from Leon Bolier and Airbase. Menno will of course also be close at hand to bring you the latest musical missiles that have been making speaker-cables glow white-hot at his gigs over the last few weeks.
Listeners will also be in with a chance of winning 2x2 pairs of guest tickets to the ‘Intuition Invites…’ event at October’s Amsterdam Dance Event where Coldharbour and Garuda records will be represented in the best possible way by Markus Schulz and Gareth Emery. An event not to be missed, and if you’ve got your ears on you could be walking through the door, libre, gratis, frei, wolny (or for that matter) free!
