INTERVIEW FROM SOITIZ.INFO (UK) TO DJ KRLOX SOITIZ: How did it all start for you? KRLOX: Beside 4 and 6 years old, my father was put me some vinyl culture, that's why i love all related from the earlier years.
In 1989 i enjoy very much the funk and disco from my father in 1992 i meet the Detroit and Euro dance..in 1995 techno music and 1996 was my start as dj.
SOITIZ: what style of techno do you play & why that style ? KRLOX: I try to make a very good Tehcno trip in Argentina, it's hard to find good djs of Techno here and that's why i play detroit, some maximal, hardtechno, tribal, but if i get the opportunity of play to some "understanding crowd" definitely hardtechno to the rock, put effects, voices all that i can do with two arms.
SOITIZ: What's your greatest achievement ? KRLOX: I don't know really.. aprox around 2000 vinyls pure of Techno music, moore maybe from Disco to Experimental... i don't wanna count the digital mediums couse i'm really being crazy 7 years ago with the mp3 and plattforms to play.
SOITIZ: What's your worst set played and your best set?
KRLOX: I have some very good sets around my travels.. around the years, in my radioshow The Wave Fm, every time are different.. indeed that make me being busy all the time with selections. It's so difficult so say this one .. but i think around 3 sets @ The Wave FM.
SOITIZ: Where do you see your career going ? KRLOX: Really another difficult question.. i'm satisfied now as i'm.. because, i play for the local crowd time to time, actually 1 time to month..tryng to make a really big party related the radioshow, that make me very happy..getting excellent djs from alll the world, presented new music every weekend..From the another side i'm really glad with my musical productions i can make from hardtechno, acid to the actual minimal wave indeed choiced for people like Richie Hawtin, that is not my objetive but at the moment is funny for know the energy.
I think that i wanna know europe, see the decadence of the techno.. meet people who love it, and work togheter very hard only for the passion...
The money never was a problem for me, you can live with out it and to be really happy. Techno is all!
SOITIZ: who is your ideal music partner? KRLOX: Another difficult questio, Lol.. i'm opened at all for new proyects but only solid, concrets with passion.. after that we can go from party to the studio from mix to design, from philosophybe to own new ideas for play with digital mediums.. all can be possible.
I don't understand the people who think like the 80's or 90's wellcome to the millenium.. stay retro but think in the future.. that's are the spirit of the Techno music.
SOITIZ: where next are you playing ?
KRLOX: I have a gig to far from here in Chile in a exclusive event of art, i plan to visit the city for some days..later i comeback for play in my hometown Rosario in a nice party on July, i plan to visit some places too and the radio never sleep
SOITIZ: what name do you Dj under
KRLOX: well i have strange concepts about the under, basically for do not enter to philosophybe, i think that under are work for the passion and not for the money..that are the concept of Dj Krlox around worlwide.. indeed we need it for live but it is a very big difference think in the music and think in another things.. that i call under, not the music, not the crowd.. techno needs people, needs records, radio, magazines, sites beside moore big are the promotion, moore big are Techno music.. and this one with out lost the "under" sense.
